Notice of Vacancy in the office of Parish Councillor

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVE

Pursuant to section 87(2) of the Local Government Act, 1972, an opportunity exists for the co-option of a parish councillor to the parish council.

This vacancy has arisen as there were insufficient nominations received under the recent Parish Council Elections.

This is an exciting and interesting opportunity to join other new members in forming the new Council and to help serve your community. If you would like more information, please don’t hesitate to contact the Clerk or the existing Chairman, Barry Leathwood.

If you are interested in applying for this vacancy, please notify the Clerk in writing by 4pm, Friday 22 May 2015. Provisional interviews (if appropriate) will be held on 1–3 June. It is expected that an appointment will be made at the parish council meeting on 4 June 2015.
