We are pleased to inform you of some recent changes that we have made to our Flood Warning service for the Tidal River Parrett at Chilton Trinity, Combwich, Pawlett, Dunball and surrounding areas.
We regularly update our flood maps and flood warning areas to make sure that our warnings are as accurate as possible. Following a recent review, we have improved the way we define our flood warning areas, which have been changed to better reflect communities at risk of flooding.
Recent newsletters detailing the improvements to our service have been widely distributed to the relevant Parish Councils, and been included in Parish magazines, websites and other media.
We are holding public awareness events at: Otterhampton Village Hall, Riverside, Combwich, Bridgwater, TA5 2QZ between 17:00 and 20:00 on Tuesday 23 October 2012
AND
Pawlett Village Hall, 7 Manor Road, Pawlett, Bridgwater, TA6 4SN between 17:00 and 20:00 on Friday 26 October 2012.
